The agreement between you and PDF Cubby — plans, billing, acceptable use, and the limits of what we promise.
By accessing or using PDF Cubby ("the Service") at pdfcubby.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PDF Cubby is a PDF utility suite. The Service allows users to merge, split, compress, rotate, convert, watermark, flatten, repair, password-protect, and redact PDF files. Files you submit are processed transiently to produce your result and are not stored or retained — see our Privacy Policy for details on how your files are handled.
To access certain features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@pdfcubby.com of any unauthorized use.
PDF Cubby offers a free tier with limited daily operations and a paid subscription (Pro tier) that unlocks unlimited access.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize PDF Cubby to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the selected interval until you cancel.
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from using the Service during a paid period, contact us within 7 days at contact@pdfcubby.com and we will review your case for a pro-rated refund.

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by PDF Cubby and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any documents you process through the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific requirements. Use of the Service is at your own risk. Always maintain backups of important documents before processing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Cubby shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold PDF Cubby harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes are effective constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
