Tips
- Password rejected? Check capital letters and stray spaces — passwords are case-sensitive and a trailing space is easy to miss.
- Statements from banks often use a set format like the first four letters of your name plus your date of birth.

- Can you unlock a PDF if I don't know the password?
- No. If the PDF needs a password to open and you don't have it, this tool cannot help — and neither can any honest one. Cracking a password is a brute-force attack, not a feature. What we can remove without a password are restrictions on a file that already opens.
- What is the difference between a password and a restriction?
